Lead fundraising strategy for one of Chicago's most dynamic youth development organizations as it builds toward its 20th Anniversary — a milestone campaign with a $1M+ goal and the opportunity to shape the next chapter of the organization's work in Chicago.
The All Stars Project of Chicago, launched in 2007, reaches more than 5,000 youth annually on Chicago's South and West Sides. As the organization approaches its 20th Anniversary in 2027, it is embarking on a milestone fundraising campaign and a celebration honoring Founder David Cherry, founding funders, and other vital stakeholders.
ASP Chicago represents the organization's greatest market for philanthropic growth — and this role sits at the center of that momentum, partnering closely with the VP/Director, the regional Chicago Advisory Board, and the national development team.
Founded in 1981, the All Stars Project transforms the lives of young people from poor and underserved communities by using the developmental power of performance in partnership with caring adults. The organization now reaches 10,000 inner-city youth and families each year across six cities, raising nearly $14 million annually in private funding.
Young people ages 5–25 perform and produce hip-hop talent shows in their own neighborhoods.
Ages 16–21 learn workplace professionalism through paid summer internships with business leaders.
